What Daakhil does

Daakhil lets guests check in from their own phone and gives hotel staff an encrypted guest register. Guest details and ID documents are encrypted before they are stored, and the encryption keys are kept separately from the data. Daakhil staff could technically access guest data and only do so to operate the service or when the law requires it. The hotel is the data fiduciary for its guest register. Daakhil processes data on the hotel's behalf.

Your responsibilities

• Give accurate details about yourself and the people in your party.
• Use only documents you are allowed to share.
• Hotels: decide who on your team can sign in, and remove people who leave. Anyone you add can read the guest records of the properties you give them.
• Do not attack, overload or misuse the service.

Hotel duties

Hotels decide what to collect, how long to keep it and how to meet their legal duties, including Form C for foreign guests. Daakhil is a tool and does not give legal advice.

Availability

We try to keep the service running but do not promise it will always be available. The service is provided as it is, without warranties, to the extent the law allows.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Daakhil is not liable for indirect loss or for loss caused by wrong details or misuse by users.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Delhi have jurisdiction.
